Teleservice
The consolidated use of microprocessor based control, regulation and monitoring devices on its refrigerating units, FRIGOSYSTEM has also put at the customer's disposal an efficient and effective support. The service offered, better know as TELEFRIGOSYSTEM, is based on the possibility of running inspections on the refrigeration units from remote stations without having to be physically near the units themselves. The "Hi-Tech" FRIGOSYSTEM units, come with the devices that allow for such remote inspection. Depending on the defined type of storage intervals, it is possible to trace information regarding the last 20 minutes of operation on up to the last 15 days of operation. All the information is represented graphically, so it may be quickly and simply used. The second data collection method is defined on-line. In synthesis it is possible to acquire information regarding the progress of several variables in real time since it is scanned once every second. This allows the telesurveillance centre to directly witness the events concerning a refrigerating unit and the information received is useful to diagnose and to evaluate well aimed interventions.
The telesurveillance centre can also see all the alarm events of a refrigerating unit. The information received is detailed and includes the type of alarm, the time and date on which it occurred, the time and date it was reset by the operator in charge of the system. An extremely important aspect of alarm management, is that the unit automatically starts the calling procedure to the telesurveillance centre whenever an alarm occurs. Thus it is possible to avoid a permanent telephone connection and to rely on a automatic connection in case of a state of alarm.
The refrigerating units equipped with the telefrigosystem are also able to direct their calls to more than one telephone depending on the type of alarm thus allowing, for example to distinguish if the technician to call should be one specialised in electronics or in refrigeration. This communication technique allows for the use of SMS (short messaging system) so that the operator may clearly express on his cellular phone the indication of the type of event, the type of refrigerating unit which generated it and the time and date it manifested itself. The alarm generating events could be trend events. This allows the telesurveillance system to timely foresee the approaching of alarm thresholds and to intervene before these could compromise the unit's operation, thus guaranteeing full operation of the unit through time.
