Frigosystem Corema expands global operations with new manufacturing site in India

Frigosystem Corema has strengthened its international presence with the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
The site was officially inaugurated on November 3, 2025.

After 18 months of operating in the country through its sales and after-sales organization, Frigosystem India Pvt. Ltd. now marks a significant step in the group’s international expansion by becoming the first production hub outside Europe. Frigosystem is already present with branch sales offices, stock of local equipment and aftersales teams in Mexico, Usa, Germany and China.

The Chennai facility will manage production, assembly, and logistics for selected Frigosystem Corema technologies, mainly small chillers and versatile temperature controllers, ensuring the same Italian standards of quality and performance alongside the advantages of local manufacturing.

This investment, whose budget is of 1 million Euros, reflects the company’s long-term commitment to India and surrounding markets, improving service responsiveness and reducing delivery times starting from customers across India, where Frigosystem Corema already cooperates with several OEMs.

Aligned with the group’s “local for global” strategy, the initiative enhances operational efficiency, supports sustainable growth, and reinforces Frigosystem Corema’s role as an innovative international partner in industrial refrigeration and thermoregulation solutions.
